Q: How does LUMI™ work?
LUMI's™ low smoke secret is its innovative dual-wall system that ensures maximum efficiency. As the fire burns, cold air enters through the external holes and is super-heated between the walls of the fire pit. This hot, pressurised oxygen exits through the internal holes and burns the smoke away! This superior air flow means you get a beautiful, clean fire that burns with amazing efficiency.
Q: How do I use LUMI™?
LUMI™ is easy to set up and use. Simply place the grate at the base of the fire pit, fit the ring over the top of lip of the fire pit, place kindling in the centre of the fire pit and light carefully. Tip: For best results do not overfill with wood. Only fill to below the top vent holes - do not cover vent holes. This helps to increase efficiency and limit smoke output. Hard woods will burn for longer and drier wood will burn smokefree Always read the instruction manual before use.

Q: What types of wood can I use with LUMI™?
Any type of firewood can be used. However, we recommend dry hardwood for a long, efficient burn.
Q: How do I clean my fire pit?
Your LUMI™ Fire Pit comes with a removable grate that allows for easy cleaning once you are done using the fire pit and the unit has cooled down. Simply lift the grate, throw out the charred pieces on the top and dispose the ash from the fire pit.
Q: What does the LUMI™ Stand do?
The LUMI™ Stand raises the LUMI™ Low Smoke Fire Pit above surfaces. This helps to increase airflow beneath the LUMI™ and help minimise direct heat contact with surfaces. However never place the LUMI™ on combustible surfaces and always practice fire safety. The stand is available at an additional cost.
